Using Data 2 Make Money: Analysis of Traffic Company’s IVR offer
Today I want to share with you some analytical insights into the multi geo IVR offer from Traffic Company.
It is a great offer for beginners and can work very well on push’n pops. Tho this offer is around for quite a while it still allows to make decent profits and can have payouts that make you think: »WTF! This can’t be real!« (more on that below)
What is the catch? you might ask yourself…
Basically you need to know this when you cannot throw a massive test budget on the offer:
- Where does the offer currently work at a stable or rising level?
- What is the average payout?
- On which traffic sources does a given geo / carrier work
The third point is for you to find out 😎
For the first two bullets Traffic Company provides excellent stats that are updated every 15 minutes. With this I mean the stats you can access via API. They contain far more information than you can see on TC’s website dashboard.
All in all I have now collected over 20 million records from these stats, nicely put them into a MySQL-database and thus have access to this digital gold whenever I want.
In this post I will share with you some typical IVR patterns from recent data. In follow up posts I will dive a bit deeper into thing and finally will put all the magic into an app (basically this thread is a side branch of »Django Unchained«)
