Can You Be All Things to All People?

I was talking with a friend about some messages I get to my FB pages as well as the ASW app.

In my ads I explicitly call out, “this is for people who aren’t X” and then someone immediately messages the page and says “I have X, will it help me?” I was tempted to respond with, “Well I don’t know, did you read the ad?” But of course that is counter productive so I just sent the person the link so it could disqualify them.
