Call With Facebook – Q&A

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago Facebook reached out to me and wanted to get on a call. I had that call with them earlier this afternoon and got some pretty decent info (and another great adspend increase =P).

Here is a summary of the questions I asked and the answers I got:

1) Will Facebook be adding more sophisticated targeting (Ethnicity, Divorced, etc)?
— I was told that specific answers on that were confidential. She did, however, imply that they are def. working on adding a few more targeting options in the near future. I was kinda let down by the vagueness of her answer, but oh well.

2) Are email/zip submits getting shut-down completely on FB?
— She told me that was not true, but she couldn’t speak for individual ad reviewers opinions as they are so unpredictable. I was advised to always be truthful in the add about participation requirements and to state memberships were necessary (if applicable). She ...
