Today I’d like to talk a bit about my new keyboard setup.

Probably you ask yourself now why the f*+# do I want to talk about boring stuff like my keyboard but it’s a bit special so I think it could be interesting 🙂

Let me start with some background info that led to that setup.

My whole life I was always typing with the good old two finger system, also known as hunt and peck.

Recently I was typing so much and I also work more in the terminal than before that I thought it could make sense to learn touch typing.

Many years ago I already wanted to learn touch typing but somehow I failed completely so I just sticked with the two finger system.

Now I just tried it again and to my big surprise it was much easier than expected.

Then I started looking for a good new keyboard because my current one is already 12 or 13 years old or so.

During my research I found out that there are many more alternative keyboard layouts avaiable than just the normal QWERTZ layout for Germany, for example Neo, Adnw and more.
