I’m new to STM. I made a comment in another and was asked to post the comment as a separate thread, but instead I just wrote this out in a more structured format. Hopefully it will help someone avoid some mistakes as they get into dropship ecom.

This won’t be totally comprehensive, but I think anyone with a mind for marketing should find some good nuggets. I put two of our older sites in here. One we no longer own and the other is just around for sentimental purposes.

How to find products?

The normal way most Youtube gurus and dropship bros tell you to find products is using a spy tool or to find a store that is doing well and copy the product. So basically they tell you to just ride the coattails of successful dropship stores. This is stupid for a few reasons…

1. You’re always going to be behind the eight ball, chasing others and playing catch up.
2. You will have competition right out of the gate.
3. You will 100% get customers commenting on your ads, saying the product sucks, but who never bought your product. They buy from another shop and then think ...
