Direct-linking to carrier-billing offers don’t work even a fraction as well as they did a year ago, or even a few months ago when I first started writing the 40-day tutorial. As of late, a good number of newbie members have pointed out (e.g. in follow-alongs) that they’re not able to find offers that have enough potential to be profitable.

Pop traffic is NOT dead – there are still lots of affiliates making money from pop. But most are doing it by using landing pages.

Still, they are the simplest type of campaign to set up, so I would still include these in the lessons as a practice step before showing you how to use landing pages.

So – keep your eye on the big picture: Get some practice with direct-linking, then move onto the lessons on landing pages and focus there instead.

Over the next few days, I’ll be rewriting the 40-day tutorial to reflect the suggestions below:

-You should aim to test 20-30 offers using direct-linking, to find at least 1-2 offers that convert at least once every 5 payouts, and attempt to optimize the campaigns for these offers.
