Mobile pop verticals that are profitable for a newbie

Hi, so I’ve been reading around and have read that utility apps aren’t really newbie-friendly anymore for mobile pop traffic. Are sweepstakes and AVs still kicking? I’m just trying to see what still works in 2017 for mobile pop currently as I’ve been reading alot of case studies and FAs and they’re mostly in 2016. Also, do you guys have any advice for trying to run mobile pop traffic right now? Thanks in advance!
