What this thread is about:
After moving finishing high-school and moving out from home in September 2014, the place to go was Sydney. Awesome town, but very expensive and.. well, down under and far away from many travel destinations. In my follow along I got the smart recommendation to move somewhere else.

After having the guts to say “Okay pack your things again and move somewhere completely different” the next question was: Where? When? What do I have to know? How to connect with like-minded people there? What about visas? How to get an apartment? Bank accounts? And 1000 other questions.

This posts should answer all those questions, starting from my perspective of having made the very basic decision to live somewhere that fits the kind of lifestyle I have in mind.

I was motivated to create a massive thread like this by searching through some old posts, and not seeing some epic ideas translated into action in a way I imagine they would be best. ...
