I have both of those traffic sources. Obviously 40k one was shut down, but there is also a difference between porn traffic, main traffic, buyer traffic, and perfectly targeted traffic.

So, stop making the biggest mistake and thinking of numbers.

There Are NO Numbers!

There Is John G. who is ready to buy your product. Alex, John M., Jason,… they are not.

Traffic source A: has 10,000 people on the list and John G. is on the list.
Traffic source B: has only 200 people and John G is one of them.

Which one would you rather buy?

If you answered A or B — you are wrong. You are victim of what I call “conversion rate newbie sucker virus” — the point is, in the example above you don’t know the price for those two. If you get 10,000 people cheaper than 200 people (possible), then why taking more expensive route?
