So I’m a bit late posting this but I figure better late than never.

American Express (US) is running a promotion up until January 31, 2015 where they are giving a 40% transfer bonus when you transfer to British Airways Avios.

To put this into perspective, they haven’t run a promo like this in a LONG time (years), and the last time they did it, the transfer bonus % was not nearly as high.

If you have the American Express Business Gold card, you will get 2x the points on each $1 you spend on Adwords/Facebook (up to $100,000 per year).

With that math in mind, if you were to spend a paltry $21,429 testing some campaigns out, you would get 42,858 AMEX Membership Rewards Points from that.

What will 42,858 points get you? With a 40% transfer bonus, it will get you 60,000 British Airways Avios points.

Why all this effort for 60k Avios? Well if you’re in New York and you need to speak at some sort of event in London, you could use those points and redeem it for British Airways First Class to get there in style:

Now British Airways First Class isn’t the BEST in the world, but it’s in the top 25% of first class products in my opinion. ...
