Never check your stats

NEVER check your stats – except when making a decision which depends on a specific figure.

This is my rule. My goal is to approach the numbers with a set of action responses already defined in my head. Then proceed straight to execution. Otherwise, emotions will arise in a game where equanimity is preferrable.
