Content Recommendation Systems: Taboola, Outbrain, Nrelate etc.

Have any of you had any luck with any of these?

I see a lot of affiliate based advertorial sites such as HowLifeWorks.com or NextAdvisor.com using them all the time, so it must be working for them to some extent. They seem to run primarily finance campaigns which are of course higher payout than many others. Off the top of my head the pros I would imagine are lower CPC for more competitive verticals than other sources & easy to make an ad appealing, the cons are that people aren’t really ...
