$50,000 profit/month 2015 Success Story
This is a bit long but I do it for the benefit of those who are still struggling to make a full time living off of affiliate marketing, scale their campaigns from $xxx to $xxxx profit a day, or even scared to launch their first campaign.
TL;DR
I saved up money, launched campaigns in July, hit $50,000 profit month, went back down to break-even in December, and now working hard to get it all back.
In light of the upcoming Affiliate Summit I thought I’d share my own little success story…
First off let me thank Kokofai for his success post last year it was the inspiration for this post.
It was November 2012 and at the time I was in an online bizopp looking for alternative ways to make money since that wasn’t really working out for me.
I didn’t know much but the one thing I did know was I wanted to do some sort of paid traffic because I wanted fast money and feedback immediately as opposed to waiting months for SEO to kick in.
In one of my night-long research sessions I stumbled upon CPA affiliate marketing with sites like affbuzz.com, tylercruz.com, and charlesngo.com
The idea of CPA affiliate marketing immediately appealed to me because of its simplicity, lack of inventory, low startup cost, etc.
I launched my first campaign in March 2013 which failed pretty miserably. I’d picked a random offer, didn’t have tracking set up, and direct linked it. The campaign ended up blowing through $300 in traffic within 4 hours and I got 0 conversions…
I didn’t go back to affiliate marketing for almost a year and half after though I was always reading lots of affiliate marketing blogs.
